Hello lovelies… How was your long weekend? I’m back from a beautiful mini getaway with my loves. We took a short left to the Vaal for some much-needed downtime. I can’t wait to share all the fun we had, and give you a snippet of what one can get up to for just an hours drive away, and might I add at a really reasonable price. I’m also still on a high since Sunday, our close friends surprised my husband and I with thee most amazing gift. I’m still in complete awe of God that people could actually do such for us. The gift is to be revealed on the blog at a much later stage, eeeekkkkk….. The suspense is even killing me!
I’ve had such a busy day today prepping for my next shoot, spent some time shopping around for a few add-on pieces for some of my outfits. I wore the worst shoes possible to go shopping, so I feel extremely sore and tired. I was meant to do my hair today as well, but too much to do and too little time.
Liefie is currently on leave (insert biggest scream), I love having him around the house. Also it means cuddling for longer in the morning and maybe a few breakfast’s in bed. We heading to Durban tomorrow to spend a few days with his family. I must admit I’m not really looking forward to the drive, mainly because toddler, and also because we driving during the day, which means he’ll be up for most of the drive. I am however looking forward to seeing family and to just laze around on the beach with my loves. And maybe add in a touristy thing or two like riding the rikshaw ( spelling?), I mean when last.
Oh, before I jet off…. I love this colour combo, will definitely be wearing more of it this season. As soon as I laid eyes on this top I had to have it, it came in a few different colours that left me so torn, and had me contemplating three purchases of the same product. How would I justify such to my husband! And the pants, so comfy, I could live in them, probably going to turn them into my go-to pants. Hello repeat offender! Let me get onto the packing and then get onto momma duties for the rest of the evening.
