Hello beautiful peeps! Trust you all had a beautiful weekend. Mine was good till early hours of Sunday morning. My husband received a phone call notifying him of a death of a close friend, so he rushed out to be with the rest of the ‘brotherhood’ at around 4am that morning. I unfortunately had to stay behind to look after Kwando. The whole of Sunday afternoon was spent at the late friends house, so many of his friends came out to be there for his family. I’m still in shock, I just don’t understand how you have a husband today and the next day you’re a widow. As much I know that life is short, I still believed that God will give us all a minimum of at least 50 years on earth. His death was so premature and so untimely, that it’s hard to accept that he’s gone. I honestly didn’t even know what to say to his wife when I saw her, she just broke down in my arms and I did the same. Death honestly leaves you speechless!
I’m not feeling too well today, my husband took the day off today to take care of me and help with Kwando. I’m so grateful for him, he’s so patient and caring. I went to see my gynae today ,and she then referred me to another gynae within the hospital. Ahhhhhh( frustration),actually I’m a bit over today. I’ve been in so much pain, I even cried. No, I’m not pregnant, just incase you were wondering, ha ha. I’m a bit emo today, so I’m not in the right space to talk about everything. I do apologize! Let me give you a quick rundown on the look.
Black has probably become everyone’s’ go to colour lately. I for one, will wear it even when it’s no longer deemed as “fashionable”. It’s such an easy colour to style and basically matches with everything I have in my wardrobe. This jacket is a bit over-sized, because it belongs to hubby. I love stealing his clothing items and incorporating them into my looks. This look is a very hood/ street-style kind of vibe. The key to achieving such a look is finding the right accessories ( beanie, hoop earrings, cap, necklace, etc.) and then having an off-set item such as the over-sized denim jacket.
