Really dislike it when I do this, but this is gonna be a really, really short post. ‘That look at my pretty clothes’ type post, cause time is not on my side today and I honestly can’t keep postponing this blog post because of that.
How rude of me, I didn’t even greet you guys. So sorry! How are you lovelies? I’m currently very swamped. New creative ideas demanding so much of my time, please don’t read this as a complaint ,because it’s the furthest thing from it. In actual fact ,my heart is currently doing cartwheels, I’m just so excited about all the projects that are soon to be revealed. They’ve taken longer than expected, because perfectionist tendencies, oh and money. The latter probably been the biggest time delay, but God is faithful y’all, delay is not a denial.
On the home front all is well, hubby and I celebrated 8 years of togetherness last month. Is it weird that we still celebrate our dating anniversary?! Anyways he swept me ( and K) away for the day to a really lovely restaurant at the cradle of human kind in Muldersdrift. The scenery is just a breath of fresh air, and it’s only 45 minutes drive out of Jozi. Took a stroll around the boutique hotel and did a mini photo shoot. Also, Kwando ‘s immune system is so much stronger, so to everyone that said this would happen, I believe you now! I was on the verge of taking him out of crèche, because I was becoming so weary, both emotionally and physically. Seeing your baby unwell is very heartbreaking, besides that helpless feeling, it’s also exhausting because they aren’t themselves.
Enjoy the images lovelies, I’ll be posting soon, I promise! Actually before I dash, don’t overlook stores like Pick n Pay, because they tend to have some really beautiful gems that are reasonably prices. I got this one on sale for like R80, the detailing just jumped at me, very 70’s inspired with the handcrafted embroidery. The folk / gypsy inspired trend has been a major trend for a few years now. It’s all about appliques, baroque swirls and abstract ethnic prints, with the most sublime detail.
