Morning lovelies! Woke up so early today, because I booked a cleaning lady for 07:30am via Sweepsouth. If you haven’t heard of Sweepsouth, please do yourselves a favour and google them. Their website is extremely user-friendly,the booking process is very straightforward and they are really affordable. I can’t quite yet comment on the service, but I’ll let you know how it goes. As I’m typing this I’m sipping on some ginger and honey tea, because I started feeling a little flu-ee last night. I feel like I finally have a moment to myself, even though it’s still work related. I’ve had a really hectic week, I spent four hours driving around yesterday all in the name of business hustle, and unfortunately today will be no different. I’m so embarrassed to even say this, but last night we had hot dogs for dinner, ha ha. Please don’t judge! It says a lot about my current status. I’m so thankful for an understanding husband.
My weekend will also be jam-packed, I’m meeting the girls for a business meeting. Most of you don’t know, but I tri own a clothing brand called tri-o. We recently just put out a trench coat we made for Winter, you can check it out on our Instagram page under tri_o lifestyle and let me know what you think. We’ve been cooking this business for years now, it’s still at a slow-moving pace, because we don’t have a pattern maker and seamstress. Both the pattern making and sewing is done in-house, and it’s quite a lengthy process. We meeting on Saturday to discuss Spring/ Summer looks. Straight after that meeting I have to dash to Germiston for my monthly Young Wives Club meeting. I’m really looking forward to unwinding with the ladies, I haven’t seen them in such a long time. More than anything, I need the spiritual uplifting. I wanted to also squeeze in a movie night with the kids( son and niece) ,but I might just move it to Sunday. Kwando still hasn’t been to a movie, so hubby and I can’t wait to take him.
This jacket! A vintage number, that I stole from my mom’s wardrobe a few years back. In her time, my mom brought it y’all, she really had , actually still has exquisite taste. I love the sleeves and the luxurious feel it has. This jewel tone gold, makes it super easy to style up. I thought I’d pair it with denim jeans, just to play down the look and not over style it. Also, if you are looking for really affordable jeans, look no further than FOREVER 21, got these for R150. Don’t ever say, I don’t share the good stuff! Don’t be afraid of vintage items, to not look like a granny just add a modern piece to the look.
Have a lovely weekend!
xx
